Description

Madeleine is pretty much the worst sixteen year old you can meet. Living on the affluent Upper East Side of Manhattan, she's convinced that her actions have no real consequences (her family have been wealthy for generations so nothing bad will ever happen to her... right?). But when her new friend goes off-grid after a party, she's forced to look at the bubble she's grown up in in a harsher light. Wretched Sheep present a dark comedy exploring consent, peer pressure, and the toxicity of disproportionate privilege.

Best show of my visit to fringe. ! Well crafted and grounded , smart transitions , relevant without showing off or being preachy. Thoughtful take aways without losing entertainment values. Simple without spectacle = authentic. Actor has that special something !

Unbelievable. A star! So unique, so twisty, so funny, a must see. Eleanor is a performer/writer who has carved out such an intricate niche and stamped her mark on it firmly. BIG recommend

I could not take my eyes off of Maddie throughout the whole performance, totally spell binding and the level of detail from the side eye to the clicking of her false nails on the phone screen mid conversation, captured the character seemingly effortlessly. Definitely one to go and see. Brilliant, exactly the kind of show I hoped to discover on my first visit to the Fringe

I was really blown away by this show. So well constructed and performed. I would highly recommend. It is really on point in its realistic portrayal of modern day social reality and values. Go and see this show!!

I really loved this show! An intense hour spent in the company of a person trapped in their own toxic echo chamber. I loved how the creeping realisation of the reality behind the facade that all the characters maintain was transmitted to the audience. At the end of the show what to conclude? Do things carry on as normal or has the central character hanged in any way?

A really well written and executed show that blends dark humor with deep emotion, making you think about consent and privilege. It’s both funny and thought-provoking—definitely stays with you!
