Description
Grace is kicking back for the summer holidays when her step mother orders her to go to her aunty Baba Yaga. Little does Grace know that Baba Yaga is a witch with iron teeth who lives in a peculiar hut and eats children. Grace sets off through the forest, kindly helped along by the audience, meeting strange characters on the way. The show is funny, quirky, charming and inclusive. Bring your coloured-in flyer or colour one in, for a prize, and make a wee puppet at the end. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. - Additional information: This show is made for all children and families no matter what their experience or abilities. It is has defined simple puppets, set and props with an accompanying illustrative descriptive story. The story is humorous and at times in pantomime style to ensure nothing is scary only silly. As a children's performer and Early Years Officer working in early education, I ensure that I have considered barriers to engagement and accessibility for all those taking part. I am available and create a rapport with the audience introducing myself and the puppet gently, the lights don't darken down. I am happy to let children and adults explore the puppets and props. I offer a safe, explorative, participatory theatre experience .

A lovely show. Low tech, hand made puppets and scenery. Emma really engaging the audience in the story. Very skilled story telling where each child was involved in saving Grace from the witch. And Emma's understanding of young children shone though in the final 'debrief'.
