Description

A dagger-tongued jump down a rabbit hole of sexual empowerment from Austin-based comedienne Katie Folger. Equal parts racy and whimsical, this one-woman show about sex and singledom in the situationship era takes you on a… ride… you can't expect. Folger's electric theatrical debut garnered her a star-rising flurry of attention after Austin and LA runs. Best Actor (2024), Top 10 Theatrical Moments (2023) by The Austin Chronicle. 'Witty, wise, and phenomenal at physical comedy' (NOHO Arts). 'Smart, introspective, revealing' (The Austin Chronicle). 'The ass is the show' (Reputable and esteemed text message critic).

There's a trope that all one man shows are about pain and one woman shows are about sex-- and, sure, this show deals with a whole lot of sex but in a way you don't expect. There is something so distinct about Folger and her take on sexuality and relationships-- entirely embodied and her own, as if the show could not be repeated by anyone but her. She weaves a spell with her both poetic and colloquial words that, by the end of it, leaves you deeply introspective about the "pizza men" in your life. Everybody go race to see it-- it's beyond fabulous.

It's a wild ride that leaves you dizzy, slightly uncomfortable, but ultimately exhilarated.
