Description

Get set for Game On, the largest interactive exhibition of video game history and culture. Conceived and curated by Barbican Immersive, the exhibition features more than 100 playable arcade, handheld and console games. From Space Invaders to Sonic the Hedgehog and Mario to Minecraft, explore iconic characters and games produced over the last 50 years, and examine gaming's social, cultural, and technological impact. Presenting different types of gaming across a range of genres, the exhibition also considers wider cultural aspects of the industry, such as the links between gaming, music and film.
