Description

Lizzy Lenco is not right in the head, and has the MRI to prove it. Expect audience interaction, song and silliness as she brings surreal tales of near death, heavy metal and cake to the stage. This is an honest and hilarious show about coming to terms with disability. Full Frontal Lobe pokes fun at the way we react to people with disabilities whilst recognising that no one has a perfect body.

I so loved Lizzy's show! Excellent dark comedy mixed with her incredible story, and I think all of us were forever changed by the goth yoga, in what for me is a highly original, fascinating and very funny show. So glad I was able to see it!

Lizzy Lenco makes me smile. That’s when I’m not laughing my head off.
Her assured approach is immediately settling, the ideal environment for comedy or storytelling of any kind. The content is indeed deep and testing, but thanks to Lizzy’s deft, accomplished performance and finely-crafted material, we know we’re in safe hands. I for one long for more at the conclusion of her show. Another helping, please!

Very funny and honest show about an otherwise dark subject
I took nearly died in the same month as Lizzy, and have also taken on my previous fears head on. Great to see another survivor looking through fresh eyes (excuse the irony)

Lizzy is an extremely talented comedian who managed to find the perfect balance between dark humour, filthy humour and a deeply emotive story. This was an intimate setting and I thought it worked well having a small audience. I was entertained from start to finish and I was also left reflecting on the devastating, long term impact of RTA's. I would highly recommend this show and want to Thank Lizzy for bringing it to the Fringe.

It takes an extremely witty comedian to turn such a horrific accident into an hour of pure side-splitting comedy! Thank you Lizzy Lenco!

Wow, so funny! And no, not brave or inspirational (because that is patronising)

Edinburgh's Free Fringe at its very best. In fact one of the best comedians we've seen at this year's Fringe full stop. Lizzie Lenco's masterful wit, humour, storytelling, song (and even goth yoga!) leads you to an awe-inspiring insight to Lizzie's real life experiences with disability and the near-death accident that caused it. She's refreshingly candid, but her cleverly woven observations are hilarious and her style leaves you properly uplifted. (Great venue bonus too - our dog was welcome)

How do you make a funny and entertaining show about being in a hideous car accident that has left you with multiple injuries and disabilities? Sounds impossible but somehow Lizzy Lenco has managed it with this show which is not so much a show about disability as a show about life, bodies and resilience. Featuring music, jokes, storytelling and held together by the titanium-enhanced phenomenon that is Lizzy Lenco. Come see her in this accessible venue while you have the chance.

This was a great show. It is dark, as it deals with difficult issues, but Lizzy does it in a very funny way. In response to her, it isnt a brave show, just very funny and engaging. Its a shame she is in a very noisy bar, but even that didn't distract her. Definitely one of my favourite shows this year and will be looking out for her performing in the future.

this a heavy and hard-hitting show, but Lenco’s brilliant dark humour makes it fun and hilarious
