Had a great time. Funny, zany, and informative, I knew practically nothing about Edward Lear other than the Owl and the Pussycat poem and even then wouldn't have known he wrote it. Now I know the strange life story of Edward Lear & his many siblings. Why can't all education be this fun?!

To cram the life and works of Edward Lear into 60mins is a feat in itself but this original play never feels rushed. Instead it is lively and fun, managing to weave Lear's nonsensical creations in and around the story of his life, embracing the comic and tragic into seamless scenes with clever use of props. The energy of this young cast is matched by their talent and enthusiasm. I left feeling entertained, amused and educated - definitely one to watch!
