Description

What a faff! Erin McKinnie, a rising star on the Scottish comedy circuit, talks about faffing through early adulthood – from rogue adventures to living the "below-deck life" on cruise ships – she finds the funny in every bizarre encounter in this uplifting show that asks: Do we really need a life plan? Or... are we all just winging it? A brilliant, snort-worthy giggle-fest about exiting your 20s, facing life indecision and chasing answers for those big questions, all the while trying to convince your mother that this is a real job...

Erin was fantastic! We stumbled across her show by chance, and it’s one of the best we’ve seen at the Fringe so far - every joke landed, she’s a natural performer who had fantastic engagement with the audience, and the whole set felt cohesive and was entertaining throughout.

We enjoyed it so much we’ll be keeping an eye out for her future shows, and would definitely recommend!

Whether through witty banter or side-splitting physical antics, Erin keeps the energy high and the laughs constant. This performance is a true standout, showcasing exceptional talent and leaving a lasting impression that feels as personal as it is hilarious easily one of the top sets at the fringe festival.

It's funny, but I was kind of hoping it would be more about working on a cruise ship and all the stories you could tell.
