FIVE STARS show! It's funny, clever and brilliantly executed by incredibly talented actors. Plus, I'm a huge fan of Edgar Wright and loved how the creative staging somehow echoes his work. This is exactly what I'm craving for when I go to theatre, an inspirational show with impressive talents and the best sense of humour

In my top3 favourite shows of this year

If you’ve seen any action movie, you would appreciate three strong performances (four if you include the marvelous technical achievements) and a tightly written script. The work this team put into the physical gags, comedic timing, and storytelling was on point! One of the most impressive shows I’ve seen at the fringe!

This was a fantastically chaotic and hilarious romp through the best of action and comedy in two short stories. The team was in perfect sync, bringing big stage energy to an intimate show where every audience member was on the edge of their seats through every twist, turn, and jump cut.

Great, great show!! So much fun, the cast take on multiple roles perfectly and the tech is timed to perfection! Great show, go check it out

Saw this last night and it’s my favourite show I’ve seen this year. Comic book comedy action with brilliant performances, minimal props and great lighting for a fast paced very entertaining show. Didn’t look at the reviews before going but agree with alll the great reviews below. The negative one must have a serious sense of humour failure. It’s a small venue a deserves to have every seat filled. Just go

Unbelievably BRILLIANT. Had no idea what to expect but laughed from beginning to end. These guys are amazingly witty, intelligent and imaginative. Definitely a must see at the fringe. I loved it!

I was blown away by the level of commitment and acting in this show. It's thoroughly entertaining and funny. The clever use of props, the stage, and sound effects is very impressive. I would recommend this show to anyone. Well done!

We adored this show! It was note-perfect, hitting every trope precisely to utterly hilarious effect. We were also astonished by the way the show made such clever and creative use of lighting & sound effects. Kudos to the cast and crew, and thank you for making our last night out in Edinburgh so memorable and special!

This was a hilarious absurdist show with fantastic performances, brilliant tech and skillful use of staging. Great complicite between cast and audience, and wonderful use of foley and physical comedy. Highly recommend to anyone interested in spy movies, action flicks & interesting use of narrative storytelling. I laughed out loud throughout and couldn’t recommend this higher!

Poor scripts and weak performances. Utterly pointless plots. Spilt over two episodes, the second even with imaginary props. Awful.

Fantastic, creative hillarious. A terrific show of explosive laughs from start to finish of true comic geniuses

Absolutely loved this piece.
The perfect Fringe show, where one comes out sooo happy that they chose this one to see out of the hundreds on offer

Cleverly and tightly written. The physical comedy was so well executed; I didn't know how much I'd enjoy watching a man gracefully punch himself in the face. Brilliant show.

Absolutely amazing performance. My first show at the fringe and the bar has been set very high! The way all the cast were able to seamlessly blend into different characters often mid scene was incredible. Acting, plots, lighting and props were fantastic. Would highly recommend, 10/10.

Where to begin? A well-written and cleverly executed performance, which takes the audience on two roller-coaster journeys. Get ready for steamy love, intrigue and fast-paced action, with a cracking finale. Very engaging and entertaining - top marks! Give yourself a treat and take your friends along!

Genuinely incredible. An homage to the cheesy action/thrillers we all know and love, tongue firmly in cheek. The way they use physical comedy to deliver the intended effect is outstanding, and everything was hilarious. I highly recommend this show to anyone who wants an influx of irreverent energy to start their evenings.

This show was SOOOOO good. The writings was well done, it was both funny and interesting, and the acting was top notch with everyone having to switch in and out of character on the fly. Highly recommended.

This show proves that you can tell an excellent, well rounded story in less than 30 minutes! These 2 shows are fast-paced and hilarious, you'll hardly see the time passing. An excellent cast playing multiple roles, with multiple accents and all their own sound effects. Great bit of fun, highly recommend!

Unlike most comedy shows I’ve seen based around similar premises, An Evening With Mere Mortals has a level of sophistication that elevates it into genuinely good theatre ... A genuinely impressive show that you don’t want to miss.
