Description
Olivier Award 2023: Outstanding Achievement in Dance. A dancer of extraordinary power and grace, Dickson Mbi summons multiple identities in this mesmerising solo performance inspired by a life-changing journey to his ancestral home in Cameroon. Drawing on hip-hop and contemporary dance with original music and otherworldly animations he asks 'who am I?', connecting with enigmatic forces to reveal himself and emerge from the shadows. Enowate is part of Here & Now – Performance created in England. Here & Now selects exceptional, stand-out performance created in England which is ready for international distribution. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
