Description

Nominee: Most Outstanding Show, Melbourne International Comedy Festival 2023. I grew up in Indonesia and have made it my whole personality. This is a show about that.

Ms Holland approaches this whole show with one eyebrow raised, gently challenging us in order to see how much we’ll take seriously, and how far we can be persuaded to laugh. Emma has great comic sensibilities, so it turns out, quite a lot!

Her quick wit brings us blink-and-you-miss it jokes, with many fun moments of delayed laughter from the audience as we raced to keep up with the flickering nature of Holland’s brain, chasing her quips as she hopped from thought to thought.
