Description
Refined Argentinian guitarist and singer Amando Risueño brings with passion music from his country, paying homage to Atahualpa Yupanqui but also to others great musicians like Carlos Gardel and Astor Piazzolla. Tangos, milongas, zambas, chacareras and vidalas compose his repertoire. He performs them in an authentic, sober, essential way, revealing a deep respect for the composers and authors whose works he transmits. He discreetly peppers this rich repertoire with classical pieces and his own compositions with the soft sonorities of the Río de la Plata. Such a sensitive and beguiling set. The music was played with love and deep understanding of the Argentinian music form.
