Description
Bloodthirsty, dark comedy about a suppressed family of vampires, adapted from Matt Haig’s (The Midnight Library) titular novel by Talitha Stevenson, and developed by Jo Brand. When their teenage daughter is assaulted by a classmate and an unexpected thirst for blood is awakened, her family is forced to disclose their true nature. The arrival of her arrogant, openly vampiric uncle accelerates the unravelling of the false front they have created. Featuring Damian Lewis, Kelly Macdonald and Harry Baxendale all on excellent form, this is a fresh, inventive take on the vampire genre.
