Description
An ex-twink tries on a new label for size as she navigates dating, delusion and God through storytelling, stand-up and a musical number or two. Dylan is an actress, comedian and content-creator known for her viral series Days of Girlhood which has a billion views online and was named Forbes' 30-under-30, Out 100 and Attitude's Woman of the Year. To celebrate her first year of transition, Dylan produced a show at The Rainbow Room to support The Trevor Project and raised nearly $200,000. Her greatest hope is to bring trans stories and queer joy to mainstream media. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. Amazing! from the minute we walked into the theatre and Dylan was already hosting in the audience - it was a fun happy party atmosphere. I was blown away by how talented Dylan is and the set was beautiful - such a great time and I'm hooked to see any show Dylan does in the future!
Fun moment as we were walking in - a lady spotted Dylan helping seat the crowd in her stunning angel out and the lady turned to me and asked - "is this part of the show" and I responded - she is the show ... and the fun did not end until Dylan received a standing ovation

Dylan is a master performer and has created a beautifully engaging, funny and emotional production. I've never seen a show before that contains an original song with complex lyrics and timing that somehow Dylan gets the whole audience singing along to!! I loved it so much I went twice. Fabulous performance all round.

Dylan is a PHENOMENAL performer! Class act the entire way through. From the moment she welcomes the audience into the house with open arms (and wings!), you know you're in for a good time. Her journey is fabulously told, easily accessible (a few of my party members had no idea who she was and ended up as superfans by the end of the performance), and her audience participation is done in such a joyous and welcoming manner that it's impossible to resist singing along. Best show I saw at the Fringe. Highly recommended!

Do yourself a favor and see this show! Dylan is an incredible performer and integrates video and songs to tell her life story. Definitely one of the best shows of the fringe!

Wow! Had no expectations going in and was very pleasantly, positively surprised. Dylan gives an incredible performance that is guaranteed to make you laugh and cry (and I don't typically cry at performances so I was surprised to find myself misty-eyed toward the end) and leave you with some food for thought. What a lovely, genuine, uplifting show. Definitely a must-see in my book.

I knew this would be funny and the singing would be broadway quality but I didn’t know how moved I would feel. I laughed and I cried. Dylan is a star and this show’s production value was incredible. My favorite show at fringe!

An absolute top-tier fringe highlight!
I saw 42 shows (no exaggeration) and this wonderful show was my favourite - and the competition was tough!!
Dylan’s show is honest, confident, funny, engaging, beautiful, wonderfully-written and - best of all - brilliantly performed.
Thank you for such a brilliant experience, Dylan. You’re a superstar.

On a surface level Dylan Mulvaney positions her one woman show as a brash, unapologetic middle finger, a confident statement of 'I'm not going anywhere, no matter what you throw at me'. But as the layers of costume changes, musical numbers and impeccable comedic timing are peeled back she reveals something far more honest, venerable and beautiful.
Dylan is an incredibly talented performer who simply demands attention in the smallest movements. Mix that with inventive and dynamic use of space and a razor sharp and wickedly dark sense of humour and you have something wildly entertaining.
What pushes this show over the line from entertaining to brilliant however is how Dylan is able to recount the story of her meteoric rise and the subsequent media frenzy without resorting to cheap jabs or name-calling and instead finds a wholesome conclusion within life's complications. I certainly didn't expect when the show started with Dylan in some almost Clair Danes-esc angle wings with a set ripped straight from Barbie's concept designs for her dream house that I would leave the show with a new perspective on our cultures treatment of those placed on artificial pedestals and how we communicate within our own differences.
'Nuance' is a powerful drug

This show is a must!!!!!!! I cannot believe that this perfectly timed, touching, hilarious, wholesome show marks Dylan's fringe debut. Her sat was immaculate, alongside the costumes. They sang and danced their heart out for an hour AND WE LOVED IT! It is selling well, so if you get the chance grab your tickets! ****.5

Dylan is so charming, I appreciated the high production of the set, sound design and costume. Her writing injects so much humour into the narrative of her life, even when talking about intimate, tender or tough moments. Her musical theatre background really shines, I still have the original music stuck in my head. While she’s absolutely gorgeous, she’s not afraid to get weird in her secondary character roles. The show is very camp, cheeky, but also full of nuance.

This show was PHENOMENAL. Raw, vulnerable and hilarious. I went primarily because I’m a fan on Dylan mulvaney, but had no idea what to expect from the show. The whole show was so captivating and honestly Broadway-worthy in my opinion (I consider myself a pretty tough critic). It also appeals to a wide audience- I brought along my parents and brother and they really enjoyed it as well— even without being caught up with gay pop culture or Dylan’s content. You should definitely see this show if you get the chance. I love you Dylan!
