I wish they'd been more honest when marketing this show. The title is 1 word different to last years show. And the videos on social media implied it would be last years show returning.

Instead it was not a very good sequel to the show they did in 2023. I probably would have still gone but feel a bit cheated given the way it was advertised. And we couldn't get a refund from the venue.

I purchased tickets to this show believing that it would be a parody of twilight, as it has been advertised on the shows tiktok and instagram. (I.e. iconic baseball scene/car scene etc)
It turns out this was last years performance, and this year the plot is that renesme is roasting her family... which we didn't fully understand until mid way through. It was funny, but the story was really hard to follow and I was pretty disappointed that it wasn't the same thing that was advertised online.

I mistakenly thought this was a Twilight Parody but it's more a parody of the parody the company did previously, with 'best bits?()' musical and dance numbers plus a reliance on pre-filmed video.

There were clearly some super Dusk vans in the audience who were clearly loving it, but not having seen the previous show, this just seemed very niche, wasn't particularly funny and went for loud music over ability for the musical numbers.

The dancer was good though!

Delightful. I belly laughed, slapped my knee, snorted...it evoked so much joy. The actors are having a ball and you cannot help but buckle up and love it.

As a Twilight fan it was fun to see this on stage. I may have come on a special remix night I didn’t totally understand the roast of Bia and Edwin. The musical numbers were an absolute hit! I loved the switching of Bellas.

Dusk: A Bite-Size Celebration is essentially a comedy revue/sketch show that changes things up every night and rips into the Twilight stories with fangs bared and a smile on its (blood red) lips. It’s a very knowing, very in-joke sort of show
