Description

Dr Glas, adapted by Jeffrey Hatcher from the notorious 1905 Swedish novella by Hjalmar Soderberg, translated by David Barret. Daniel Gerroll stars in this solo psychological thriller as a staid, conservative doctor whose world turns into a nightmare when the beautiful Mrs Gregorious begs him to protect her from her despised husband. Dark, twisted, mordantly funny, Dr Glas was streamed by North Coast Repertory Theatre in California as part of their Covid season. This Edinburgh Festival Fringe production is the live theatre world premiere.
