You've seen him on Countryfile, Blue Peter and that episode of Springwatch that the BBC have tried to scrub (scrub!) from the internet. So come on, let's laugh, buy his new book afterwards, and dare-I-say-it-yes-I-do have a really great time! Starts off good and gets better and better, ending in a satisfyinly hilarious climax. Jokes rely occasionally on some pop culture references that the odd audience member might miss, but the show has enough surprises, and a committed performance from its lead actor, that this is worth a recommendation to go see. It's worth it alone for some of the props that appear during the show.

This is a completely different level of show - the effort and commitment that has gone into creating and delivering this high-risk show (i.e. high risk in terms of reputation - nothing is held back - this is a 'love me or hate me, I'm doing it anyway' kind of performance) is worth seeing. Aidan Pittman reminds me ever so slightly of Rik Mayall (which is high praise - although wouldn't be coming from my wife who neither likes Rik Mayall and couldn't leave this performance quickly enough once it was over - so it's not for everybody!) and throws himself into his performance completely. I loved the multi-media, delivery, the props, the sweat, and the randomness. It got a little slapstick and ridiculous in places, but overall, it's an experience I'm glad I had and my teenagers loved it.

Dr Dolittle Kills a Man (and reads excerpts from his new book) is a hilarious maximalist fever dream that you absolutely must see if you’re at this years fringe. The sheer density of incredible jokes and elaborate stafecraft is going to live in my head for a long time. Dinner Daddies is a group to watch, and I hope they tour Dolittle for a long time. The world needs to see this show!

Dr. Dolittle's first look into his latest (and only) book is a dazzling, near cinematic experience of epic adventure and sexy, politically questionable water fowl. To miss this show is to miss out on a top-tier immersive experience that surely cannot be rivalled by anything on at this, or indeed any other, Fringe. Special guest will make you think you're seeing double! Be there!

One of the funniest things I've seen in years, and a must-see at Fringe 2024. The commitment to each absurd bit and the sheer effort that's been pumped into every aspect of a completely silly show — from writing and acting to props and audiovisuals — is breathtaking. Ridiculous in the extreme, full of twists and turns, and consistently laugh-out-loud funny in a very warm, pure way. Didn't want it to end. They just don't make 'em like this anymore.

A highly energetic and entertaining show, well executed with very few slow points. Make sure to give it a watch while you can, just make sure not to steal the merchandise!

Is this my favorite show of the Fringe so far? Quite possibly!
An amazing concept that's perfectly executed, the jokes are constant and they're all impeccably stupid.
Aiden is a great performer and the team behind it have clearly put in a lot of time and hard work.
A must see character comedy!

P.S shout out to the production quality of the videos and the props!

The show brilliently gets you to buy into the premis then dosent let go. Strange side splitting stuff. One genius peice of writting after another. The visual, physical, and written gags tie together so well you never get a chance to stop laughing. Its a fringe show you will be telling people about for years.

Been to see this show twice now, absolutely phenomenal writing, brilliantly witty gags and just general insanity!!

Last minute decision to see this as I had a gap between shows and so glad I did! Funny, quirky, off the wall show. Loved it. Give it a punt!!

Go and see this. One of the funniest things I've seen... ever really

Go see this. No really, do. Nearly cracked a rib laughing. This is so silly, cracky, witty, ridiculous and incredibly well put together from the props to the visuals to the comedic timing, that it is nearly impossible not to feel thoroughly entertained. For me personally this is a definite must-see at the Fringe this year.

Aidan is a wonderful comic, hot writing, wonderful characterful presence on stage that is both witty and ridiculous. There's a lot crammed into this great show, but Aidan still finds space to breath and to really allow the audience to laugh at all his well tailored bits. He's a wicked performer and one to watch!

The fringe at its very best!

We saw Aidan in BurdWurld last year so for us, this was a show not to be missed. It is a fast paced, incredibly entertaining hour full of funny commentary and visual gags, definitely worth buying a ticket. It represents everything I love about the Fringe. And there are birds, (again) this guy clearly has a thing for birds, possibly an intervention is needed!

Think you know the story of Dr Doolittle? Think again. And again. Imagine Indiana Jones, but Harrison Ford took lots of drugs and sweated profusely. You won't know what to expect next, and you won't stop laughing. A wild ride from start to finish, Aidan Pittman is a joy to watch in this masterfully crafted epitome of absurdity.

Fantastic absurdity - such commitment from Dr Dolittle. So many jokes crammed into an hour with twists and turns that are well worth the ticket!

Jacqui Brown 33 days ago

A totally bonkers fun show which represents the true spirit of the Fringe. Highly recommend!

Anders and Sanna 37 days ago

Brilliantly weird and well-played one-man(ish) multimedia experience. Great fun if you enjoy strange one-off gags as well as adventure storytelling.

Also, great props. However, the puffin's accent isn't entirely convincing.

Deserves a bigger stage!
