Description

Join us at the world-renowned tapestry studio after hours. Enjoy a welcome drink on the spectacular weaving floor balcony while enjoying Tania Kovats: SEAMARKS, before a guided tour through Chris Ofili: The Caged Bird's Song. Tania Kovats’ ongoing series Seamarks, multiple seascapes captured in brushstrokes, drawings and ceramic, is being expanded with the creation of a new tapestry by Dovecot Studios. Experience how the colour, myths and magic of Chris Ofili’s watercolour design are transformed into a large format tapestry that took Dovecot’s master weavers over three years to create.
