A heartwarming story told beautifully with brilliant flamenco guitar accompaniment! I especially loved the many expressions of Daniello on the guitar - true passion! 5/5 and highly recommended!

We saw this show last year and were so captivated by it that we galloped along to see it again. It is a captivating piece of theatre. The charming story-telling from Inés Álvarez Villais is enhanced by the guitar of local musician, Danielo Olivera which makes a perfect blend and sweeps the audience along with Don Quixote and his friends on all his adventures. Well, not quite all, because all we have is an hour, but enough to be satisfying and really enjoyable. Chill out for an hour and relax in their company. You won't regret it.

Not entirely sure where the "rides again" is in this retelling of this oft told tale... However Inés Álvarez Villa's beautiful storytelling accompanied by live flamenco guitar throughout, transports you, as promised by her at the beginning, from the unpredictable summer of the Edinburgh Fringe, to the sunny countryside of medieval La Mancha, and condenses Cervantes sprawling narrative into a wonderful hour. Sadly, on the evening I attended the performance was ill served by the house lights being left up for some unknown reason, diverting focus from the stage.

The combination of heartfelt storytelling and beautifully harmonizing guitar allow you to really immerse yourself in the story. Like getting a story told as a child for the first time, it's exciting, refreshing and yet somewhat familiar. A heartwarming, unique experience, both for young and old souls.

Beautiful skilled assured storytelling in a lovely blend of words and music which thoroughly evokes the landscape and setting of Don Quixote, Storyteller Ines Alvarez Villa sees, hears and smells it all and so do we. She carries and communicates this extraordinary story within every part of her body. Danielo Olivera is right there in the heat and dust , his beautiful guitar playing filling the Netherbow Theatre with the throb of Spanish culture. Step off the pavement and travel.

What a lovely show to take my mum and friends to! Inés is a fabulous and engaging storyteller, with a warm and beautiful stage presence transporting us to another time and place, and Danielo on guitar provides a beautiful soundtrack. They both work increibly well together, making for a very enjoyable evening. Thank you!

What a beautiful, captivating show! A fabulous storytelling performance - precise, funny, clever, beautifully physicalised. And the live musical accompaniment is magical. This is just a joy. Don't miss it.
