Go and see this - it's just joyous (and quite rude). And funny. Did I mention funny?

There's a number of serious messages underlying this show - but it's not preachy or heavy-handed, it's just an absolute hoot. The performers are insanely talented, sing live (no lip-synching), and gleefully rip the p out of the tropes and clichés of classic Disney movies and fairytales in general. You won't have a more enjoyable hour at the Fringe with your clothes on.

Don't miss this show. Side splittingly funny, very naughty, slightly bonkers but, surprisingly, there was a very warm, life affirming message, running right through the middle where you weren't expecting it. Uplifting and tremendous fun.

This show is funny and super entertaining whether you love Disney or truly hate it. This talented group of performers is taking a stab at pretty much all the good old Disney magic 'values' and 'life lessons' with an added sexy, quirky and fetishy twist. Go and see!

Don’t be late or you might not find a seat or Snow White might find her seat on your lap. It was a packed audience and for spectacular reason, with a standing ovation at the end of the show.
Don’t need to be a Disney fan to enjoy yourself, go see this show!

This show turns fairy tales on their heads and makes them queerer, sexier, more empowering and all around better. Laughed heaps and loved the message!

Such a fun show, there is every bit of Disney you could imagine from an adult point of view. Such talented performers, would have loved to have been lower down and maybe become a dwarf. Out and Out Fun 5 Stars

Go see this show! Aussie Disney panto style show, with sex education and equal rights campaigning thrown in. A great message that some of the disapproving looking men in the audience definitely need to hear more of. Front row is a bit of a splash zone, but fabulous! Go see it for a laugh. Talented performers, great voices and senses of humour.

The gender norms and constrictive narratives are cast aside in favour of beer, kinks, and pride. It makes for a thunderously good time.

With 'Dizney in Drag: Once upon a parody', The Hairy Godmothers' deliver a wild, 60 minute, nostalgic romp through Dizney-land. It's a scream and you'll definitely want to leave your kids at home for this one.

EdFringe Review (4/5 stars) 111 days ago

All in all, a visit to ‘Dizney in Drag’ is a guaranteed pick-me-up. Silly, sexy, and with a surprisingly tender core, the show defiantly deconstructs the traditionalism of romance narratives both within the world of Disney and more broadly. It is a must-see, though perhaps not for the sexually faint of heart.
