Description

DISCOunt: The Disco Variety Show featuring disco dance numbers, comedy, drag, burlesque, music and did we mention disco?! Based on a love and deeply inaccurate knowledge of the 70s, DISCOunt: The Disco Variety Show highlights a cast of comedians, drag and burlesque performers, in a powerfully dumb, clown-filled and chaotic evening full of dance parties, Equus, boxing, puppets, Tang and talk shows hosted by Christopher Morucci and Kendall Davis.

Bits stacked on gags stacked on more bits - crazy funny and energetic. This show is the most effective way to learn about the 70's and simultaneously learn nothing about the 70's. Killer writing and improv from Kendall and Chris!

Such a joyous show! Simultaneously silly and smart. Retro and cutting edge. Dangerous and safe. A must see.

This show was out of sight. By which I mean I could never have envisioned this. Two clowns and their stand-up intern roll through a hectic celebration of everybody’s favorite decade: the 1980s by talking about everyone’s favorite part of the 1980s, the 1970s, by talking about everybody’s favorite part of the 1970s: 1969 and 1995. Look, it will make sense when you see it. Or it won’t. But it will be fun, so go see it anyway and enjoy a late show that gives new meaning to the phrase “night fever”.

A night of wild and silly 70s comedies- expect disco, Tang juice, spitting, and (may or may not be) cokes. The whole group of us couldn’t stop laughing throughout the night - so much energy coming from both Christopher and Kendall it’s a perfect midnight wild alt comedy show for #edfringe

Wandered into discount disco and had the time of my life! I felt like I was in college again, filled with silliness, youth and a hint of naughtiness but all in good fun!
