Description

When you’re constantly reinventing yourself, how do you know who you really are? With inspiration drawn from the life of confidence trickster Amy Bock, this comedy drama explores the big question: when do we stop pretending? An originally written piece, (Dis)honest will take you through a range of crimes and deceptions, and leave you with the questions: what does honesty mean, where does it stop, and does it matter?

What a triumph!

Fast paced, thought provoking and funny

This piece really does prove that youth theatre is alive and well. Best show I’ve seen at the fringe so far.

What a beautiful show! The characters are so prominent and the lead podcaster presents the story so wonderfully whilst also being so comedic! What a talented group of young performers. This is the future of theatre!

Totally stunning! I was mesmerised to see how 9 young women could use a podcast to tell a story about the identity of women that was so poignant, sad and hilarious at the same time. It was so special that I just have to go again! Well done, ladies, you were phenomenal!

Great new show from a talented set of young female actors in a dark comedy about what identity means in the modern, social media world.

(Dis)honest is a shining example of how valuable youth theatre is to the Fringe, and these performers have shown immense promise. I look forward to seeing what else they can achieve next year.
