Description

Join Coro 24 as they return to the Edinburgh Festival Fringe performing Henry Purcell's operatic masterpiece in this magnificent setting. The small vocal ensemble and band will be directed from the harpsichord by Neil Metcalfe, with Holly Gowen as Dido, Matthew Fulton Peebles as Aeneas and Maggie Kinnes as Belinda. Not to be missed!

Fife Opera’s stripped-down production of Henry Purcell’s Dido & Aeneas in the airy stained-glass nave of Edinburgh New Town Church, is small in scale but sacrifices nothing in emotion or vocal quality.
