Description

Celebrate this beautiful evening with romantic piano by Chopin, Liszt and Debussy – by candlelight. 'Matthew Shiel shone' (ThisWeekCulture.com). Tonight’s programme includes several of the most beautiful piano pieces ever composed: Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Schubert’s Serenade, Franz Liszt's Liebestraum and Debussy's Clair de Lune – performed by atmospheric candlelight in our special candlelit chapel setting. This concert will also feature a new romantic nocturne composed specially for tonight's artist by Matthew's Italian friend and composer Dr Alfredo Caponnetto – Notturno VI.
