Description
Celebrate this beautiful evening with romantic piano by Chopin, Liszt and Debussy – by candlelight. 'Matthew Shiel shone' (ThisWeekCulture.com). Tonight’s programme includes several of the most beautiful piano pieces ever composed: Beethoven’s Moonlight Sonata, Chopin’s Ballade No. 1 in G minor, Schubert’s Serenade, Franz Liszt's Liebestraum and Debussy's Clair de Lune – performed by atmospheric candlelight in our special candlelit chapel setting. This concert will also feature a new romantic nocturne composed specially for tonight's artist by Matthew's Italian friend and composer Dr Alfredo Caponnetto – Notturno VI.Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted.
