Description
Meet Perry. A confused bundle of stories from the dawn of time, collected through heartache and joy. The mysterious Alastor has chosen to listen, but who is Alastor? Perry wants to know about love; what Death really is and whether she has a meaning? A heart-warming tale of loss, acceptance and Fablemaking to gain understanding around the ultimate question - what is beyond? Maybe for Perry, another story...Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. I turned up shortly before the 1605 start time, but there was nobody at the door and the play had already started! Inexcusable, but at least it explains the group's name of "Early Doors Productions". (The show was over by 1650 so I guess they started 5 mins early)

I thoroughly enjoyed this show from start to finish. The story is one of optimism and reflection. A tale of love and hope performed beautifully by all involved. Don't miss it!

I had the privilege of catching this show in a preshow before it travelled up to the Fringe and can I say what a beautiful tale of love and the idea of love it was. All the performances were incredible. The use if movement and using the ensemble to create suck memorable characters all encompassing a mesmerising turn by Amy Clayton. This piece of theatre pulls at the heartstrings and makes you think.
If you get a chance to see it, do. It's spectacular.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
My last show of the day, Death, The Devil and The Fablemaker at the Space on The Mile – Space 2 (Venue 39) (Entrance via Radisson Blu Hotel) and what a visual feast for the eyes and a journey of morality from the dark to the light framed with emotions of loss, love and regret. Thank you all involved for 50 minutes of joy and wonderful way to end to my day.

I was fortunate enough to watch ‘Death, The Devil and The Fablemaker’ last week, ahead of its journey to the fringe. From beginning to end, I was transfixed and couldn’t quite believe that this was the first time of seeing it; the piece was superbly written, and the performances even more so. The whole company shone on that stage and I sincerely hope that this isn’t the last time we see this moving piece! I want to see it again already!

I was very lucky to see a preview of this show before it hits the Fringe. What fantastic performances and a beautiful series of stories that will warm your heart and bring a tear to your eye.

I was privileged to get to see a preview of this show in Essex ahead of its journey to the Edinburgh Fringe next week. I've always loved storytellers and storytelling: and at the heart of this tale, this exploration of love and life and death, is an appreciation of story and a recognition of the power of narrative - what we discover when we tell each other tales. It values the power of the storytelling and the fundamental nature of this for humanity. I loved the two storytellers at its heart, but the wider company did an amazing job in bringing those tales to life. A gentle, thoughtful and very human show. I loved it.

I can't wait to see this live at The Fringe at The Space Uk Venue 39 in Week 3 at 16:05.
I was sent a video of the complete show to review and this is something so very special.
Intelligently written with outstanding, effortless performances. A gentle meander through stories of a bygone era that are ultimately fragments of our titular character's life. A beautiful story beautifully done. Highly recommended.
