Description

Does cancer change you? Jane was adamant it wasn’t going to change her. Jane was an idiot. Part stand-up, part autobiographical theatre, Dead Inside is a rollercoaster ride through the hilarious topics of cancer, suicide and the price of pretty panties. Guaranteed to be less terrifying than it sounds, this is one woman’s reaction to an onslaught of breast cancer treatments – the things that made her laugh, cry and say what the actual duck-billed platypus – all while brandishing humour as a coping mechanism. Join Jane Japes to find out if you’re Dead Inside or Loving Life.

Wonderfully written and performed story of the humorous lessons to learn from an encounter with cancer and the NHS. Health tips included - this could save your life! One in two means that if you don't get cancer you are the friend who should not be afraid to ask someone who has cancer - "How are you...really?"
