The funniest comedian I have ever seen!
David Eagle is wonderful! Myself, partner and entire audience were howling with laughter. He has something for everyone! His story telling is well timed, very funny and greatly entertaining !!! I never thought I would be singing along to a story about a pigeon in a rock bank - which sounds frivolous but David’s story telling is so entertaining and his musical talents enhance the show, I gladly followed along with his story!!

Seven Stars. Not just one of the best comedians at the Fringe but one of the best ever. An immediately likeable bloke with some sparklingly original material delivered with perfect timing. A comic genius and accomplished musician who deserves a bigger audience and his own show on Radio 4 at 6:30. And he's far funnier than most TV comedians too. He's up there with Eddie Izzard, Bill Bailey and Dylan Moran. One to look out for. Brilliant Stuff. Loved it :-)

You’ll have the best time. One of the funniest shows you’ll see at the fringe. Recommend highly.

5 Stars. David is just brilliant, a proper comedian wherby you will laugh out aloud at least every 30 seconds. His joke craftmanship is skilfull, his songs are even better. This is a guy who has won new act awards a few years back - he is fantastic.

Once in a while you discover an amazing act at the Fringe. David Eagle is that act. He's really laugh-out-loud funny, and relentless in his chirpy delivery of dark but somehow very light-hearted material. His comedy songs are absolutely spot-on. You absolutely MUST see his show!

So pleased to see David at The Fringe having enjoyed his brilliant banter over the years as a folk musician. He was clearly destined for stand-up and has proved that he is an absolute natural. His quick wit and utter brilliance have the audience captivated and the room was full of non-stop laughter. David is really going places with his comedy ably supported by his crazy songs with accordion accompaniment. Don't miss this brilliant guy and his excellent Fringe show.

One of the highlights of my Fringe. David is just naturally funny and writes brilliant stand up material and songs delivered effortlessly. Fab show. Highly recommended.

A very funny show with foot-stomping music. Very Fringe, thinks this newcomer. Really special and highly recommended.

A brief festival outing tonight. David Eagle (from the folk band The Young ‘Uns) doing stand up. David is blind so his routine is about life as a blind person. But that doesn’t do it justice. Very funny, quite rude with some surreal songs - eg a death metal pigeon. You had to be there. In fact you should be there!

David is RELENTLESSLY FUNNY. You'll laugh, you'll laugh harder, you'll laugh so much you may miss some jokes. Engaging, unique performer. GO TO THIS!

Absolutely brilliant show. David will have you laughing from start to finish. The use of his accordian throughout the show is brilliant and a highlight was definitely his parody of when I'm cleaning windows. If you only go and see a few shows this fringe make this be one of them.

I will never not hear his version of ‘When I’m cleaning windows’ now. Laughed a lot. Songs were the stand out but the rest of the set was funny too. Take a risk. Go and see this.

A tremendously fun and good-natured show featuring music that will stick in your head like pigeon poo to a windscreen. Having enjoyed David’s comedy at mixed bills for many years it was ace to see him do a full show. One of the most fun shows you’ll see at this year’s Fringe. Highly recommended!

What a brilliant show! David is not just a clever comedian, he is also an accomplished musician. The combination of the two is hilarious - especially his accordion accompanied rendition of “I killed my dog for Satan”

Eagle is an example of a perfect marriage between persona and material, a rare thing in stand-up.
