Description

The story of 30 years as an acrobat, this one-woman variety show stitches together acrobatics, dance, physical comedy and spoken word to form the image of life as a circus performer – and what happens to the body and mind in the process. From training with world-renowned Master Lu Yi as a child to performing at the Church of Scientology, the story is full of unexpected twists and revelations, both hilarious and poignant. 'Exemplifies what can happen when you don't fetter an artist's individual expression. [She has] the poetic eye of an anthropologist of whimsy' (San Francisco Chronicle).
