The Creative Martyrs

Cabaret and Variety (theatre, satire)

Description

Politics? Satirical musical comedy; jubilant, miserable, deadpan existentialism, desperately trying to balance the pointless and immediate. Doomed and defiled by our squandered humanity... yet strangely feel-good... 'Wonderfully dark and delightful' ***** (BroadwayBaby.com);

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Creative Martyrs is fantastically entertaining with musically & visually enhanced witty verbal gymnastics, satire, and FUN!!! Every year a visit to Fingers Piano Bar in the New Town is rewarded by this Best of the Fringe duo, comparable to sold out Sh!t Theatre shows playing across town. Grab a drink and laugh your head off!

Think an updated Flanders and Swann, and you both have some idea of what this duo is like and why you should really, really see them. Excellent.

We've been going to the Creative Martyrs for the past 10 years every year and they never disappoint. Get ready for an hour of quick and witty, old-fashioned great entertainment which makes you think and nod your head in agreement more than once.
They like to point out the things we see and experience in daily life but don't really see anymore. They are masters of singing their thought provoking songs.

One of those shows that shouldn't be missed.
