I have seen Colin Cloud each time he's been at the Fringe and he never disappoints and I always leave his shows amazed and baffled by how its done. I'm sure there's a simple explanation but I just love the mystery. Hoping to go to Vegas sometime so maybe he'll sort me out with tickets

The show was entertaining. It was a mix of what I believe was hot reading (since he encouraged people to tag him on their socials before the show) and prop magic. I was disappointed that none of the tricks seemed to be unique, or his own inventions. All the prop and card tricks used can be easily purchased online. Just google "rope hook trick penguin magic".

Unbelievable! Left feeling baffled and confused how he did it. A master of his craft, thoroughly enjoyable and comes across a genuinely nice person. Must see!

I have never audibly asked "wtf" during a show before but this show had me actively gaping all the way through it. Colin Cloud is incredibly engaging and witty, it is impossible to look away from him. The closest to the real Sherlock Holmes you will ever meet, he is clearly at the top of his game and doing what he does best. It's clear how much he loves what he does. He is also extremely nice and always comes out for photos and a chat after every show despite the mobbing crowd. I loved this show so much I went twice and would go ten more times if I could. Outstanding work.

Mind magic to the extreme. I have no idea how Colin did any of that, only thing I can think of is that I was the only audience member and everyone else was a plant, but I guess that gets a bit expensive! Colin is also a great showman. Recommended!

Gary Strickland-Clark 46 days ago

I was determined to work out how he was doing all this trickery - but nope, not a clue. He picked my son as one of how 'volunteers', and correctly 'read his mind' (bloody wish I could!) so I know the audience members are not 'plants. Colin has a comfortable and fun style and so is naturally fun to watch even without the stunning feats of prediction and 'mentalism'. As I saw one other reviewer noted, the audience simply 'forgot' to applaud on a number of occasions - not because we were unimpressed, more because we were sitting in stunned silence. Entertaining and amazing all the way through.

A highly entertaining and professional show by a true showman. Amazing feats of mentalism with a fair amount of humour too. A festival highlight for my family. Perfect for sceptical teens!

First visit to the Fringe and we saw Colin on 1st August. I didn't know what to expect and I was left speechless. I would recommend seeing this show - amazing, definitely one of the best shows.

Third time seeing Colin perform at the fringe with the first being pre-Covid and he just gets better and better! Was left in awe and gobsmacked wondering HOW!? Would highly recommend seeing Colin perform, the crowd interaction and his appreciation for the crowd is another level! Can’t wait to come back hopefully next year! ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

Why Didn't We Clap More?

So I saw Colin many moons ago as part of The Colour Ham at the Fringe. He was great then, he's incredible now.
I feel bad. We didn't clap enough. We should have whopped more. I'm sorry, Colin. We were just too gobsmacked to react. On repeat, Colin smacked us in the face with his mind boggling 'tricks'. Inwardly, I swore a lot. A lot. How???? How could a person possibly do that. You just want to assume it's a set up. But to be honest, even setting that up would be impressive! To say we were enthralled for the duration would be putting it mildly. This guy is wickedly wonderful. Go see him. You won't regret it but you will be baffled.

What a brilliant show. Intriguing and entertaining all wrapped into one. I spent as much time wondering "how the hell did he do that?" as I did in awe of the slickness and humour of all the performance. No wonder this guy has a residency in Las Vegas. Definitely recommend this show.

I’m not typically interested in magic tricks, so I didn’t think I was necessarily the target audience. And yet. I had the most amazing time seeing Colin perform incredibly unlikely things on stage (not to say “miracles” but you get the gist).
Wow! I still don’t get how any of it works, but I’ll continue marvelling at this.

Go see it for yourselves!

Colin Cloud’s show Consequences

Saw this show last night, 5 August, and can truly say that my mind was well and truly blown away

We have been watching Colin's shows since pre-Covid days and each year, he never fails to put on a new show that amazes! Great production and highly entertaining, you must see this even if you hate "magic shows" as Colin's shows are much, much more than that! 5/5 as always!

Harriet 61 days ago

This was brilliant, yet again leaving his show wondering how does he do it?!

Even if you aren’t picked you still very much feel part of the show.

Half the people I went to school with were mentalists but unfortunately not like this! Prepare to be baffled, bamboozled and bewildered..... now headlining his own Vegas show, so save yourself a flight and catch him in Edinburgh.

Just an Amazing Show - takes you to the different dimension of magic; free your soul and let yourself be a child again with the sense of brilliant surprise. Definitely must see!

I've been coming to Colin Cloud's fringe shows since 2017 and I can safely say this is his best yet.
He has such a brilliant stage presence and a way of making you feel part of the show even if you're just watching and don't get picked to take part.
A must see.

We loved the show, it was kind blowing. Everyone should try and see it for sure.

Was recommended to see this show by a friend who had seen Colin in Last Vegas last week. He described itas "phenomenal" and he wasn't wrong. From the first minute to the last you will be amazed and left baffled by what you are watching. No spoilers but the ending is truly amazing. If you are going to see just one show make sure it's Consequences. You won't be disappointed.

There are genuinely not enough superlatives I could use to describe Colin Cloud's show(s). Truly jaw-dropping. You'll spend an hour shaking your head in disbelief saying, "how did he do that?" How can you pick so many random audience members and tell them their star sign or their occupation or ask them to THINK of a lie they've told in the past and then tell them what it is? Simply spellbinding.

A very smooth, mind-bogglingly good show from Scottish mentalist Colin Cloud, who’s apparently now taking Vegas by storm! It’s easy to see why.
