Description
A Celebration of Father Ted is an homage to the 90s sitcom involving music, stand-up, video, slides and audience participation hosted by the comedian/actor who played Father Damo. I saw Joe Rooney last year, he is fekkin' brilliant. The nights before I paid far more to see a couple of big-name acts, and Joe Rooney was FAR better.
He is well worth going to see for his Father Ted stuff, but I found the raconteur sections of his show riffing on his life in the hardline Catholic Ireland of his youth utterly hilarious. How to out-Billy Billy Connolly.
Go and see him, go on, go on, go on.
