Just what a millennial audience wants, right?  Determined to secure his legacy, he decides to pull off one of the biggest cinematic comebacks of all time – a new Carry On film! A new play about ageing, the human spirit and changing attitudes, and of course an affectionate tribute to the Carry On films, one of the most successful franchises in British film. Funny and poignant- a sometimes tricky balance, but this show had it all. A very talented actor who brought the Carry On actors and jokes back to life in true Carry On fashion. A must see for Carry On fans.

A one-man show about the Carry On films and their producer. At first I wasn’t sure about the show - some of the impressions were not quite there - but it went on to improve and by the end I was glad I went, it became funnier and ultimately quite moving.

Loved this...Having enjoyed the 'Carry On' films for years it was nice to watch a tribute to the films and the actors who made their names in them...Maybe a show for whom younger theatre goers would struggle to know who the various characters portrayed were, but nevertheless brilliantly acted out and well worth going to see.

Great show, really enjoyable, funny, nostalgic and poignant moments throughout. All carried by an excellent performance.

What a brilliant show! As a lifelong (or at least since I was 7 or 8!) I have loved the Carry On movies and they along with the actors hold a very special place in my heart. I wasn't sure what this show would be like, but I'm happy to say that it was superb! Brilliant acting, excellent impersonations of the actors and a well paced and balanced mix of hilarious moments, jokes, back story and moving, poignant moments. I was taken back into a world of saucy humour and amazing characters that I grew up with. A truly remarkable show that I recommend to anyone, whether a Carry On fan or not. 5☆

Memories brought straight back to mind with this excellent story of Peter Rogers. If you have any knowledge of the Carry On productions and have an opportunity to see this show then you will soon be amongst so many familiar characters thanks to the brilliant raconteur. This was a last minute addition to my schedule but ranks amongst one of the best shows seen
