Saw Caged at this lovely venue on Friday night (23rd) what an amazing play. A fantastically powerful piece of writing from Colette Swan and an exceptional performance by Eilidh Thomson. This historical true story is easy to follow and the 45 minutes went by so quickly. Congratulations and well done to all involved.

Five star review of a compelling and powerful performance by an actress that’s the living embodiment of a woman who played a key role in Scottish history but has remained unknown and unsung. It was an electrifying, passionate performance and I wish I’d seen this show earlier in the festival to encourage others to go and see this actress. She’d make a perfect Lady Macbeth too!

Saw this little gem on Saturday evening. The performance was strong, captivating and kept my interest throughout. An amazing story about an amazing woman portrayed by an amazing actress. Such a shame it is on so late because it deserves a much wider audience.
