Description

Edinburgh chamber choir Cadenza, under director Timothy Coleman, performs its ever-popular Fringe concert in the wonderful setting of Greyfriars Kirk. The programme includes Mozart's evergreen Coronation Mass, Litany of Loreto, and works by Eric Whitacre, Ravel and Giles Swayne (his bravura Magnificat), as well as a newly commissioned work by Janet Wheeler, Birds of Paradise. With multiple Fringe sell-out laurels, Cadenza will sing alongside an orchestra led by Robert Dick, and some of Scotland's finest professional soloists. Highly Recommended Show 2018: 'Superb singing from this high-class Scottish choir' (FringeReview.co.uk).
