Heartbreak. Hypocrisy. Hamsters. Julia and Dan's marriage is on the rocks. Well, more than on the rocks. They're getting divorced. Amicably. For now. But when their lawyers step in, tensions and temperatures rise to breaking point. A dark comedy that delves into the complicated dynamics of a young marriage dashed by betrayal... and paperwork. With the lawyers holding a microscope to their relationship, boundaries are crossed and hidden characteristics are revealed. Love lost, hamsters and heartbreak. This witty unique take on divorce really moved me. The comedy was brilliantly written and perfectly timed. On both nights I went there was lots of laughter as well as gasps from the audience. All the actors were very good in their respective roles. However for me, Clementine McNair Scott as Sam was truly impressive to watch, incredibly funny and convincing. Each theme was handled very tastefully as well as being incredibly gripping. I cannot wait to see what comes next.

An incredibly witty, honest, and turbulent portrayal of a divorce - I was hooked from the moment I sat down. From the Adam Sandler jokes to the French accent, this play is so cleverly written, with a fantastic cast. So good I had to watch it twice!

My first show at my first Edinburgh Fringe and what a start. In the small venue it felt like you were a fly on the wall in the solicitor’s office. There were laugh out loud moment along with some sharp intakes of breath from the entire audience moments. Really good interplay between all the characters. A great show written for Fringe apparently. What a great team. I expect to see more of these talented young people in the future. I recommend you to see this show.

A wonderful showcase of some great young talent — who all wrote, produced, and performed! I felt like a fly on the wall peering into the downfall of a grounded, reality-based couple and their surrounding relationships. Go see the show for a peek into the intimacy of some exciting characters and circumstances!

A unique and interesting take on what goes on behind the doors of the solicitor’s office during a divorce. The acting was engaging. and serious themes were interwoven seamlessly with clever bits of humour. Lots to talk about afterwards too
Well worth a watch

Out of the four plays I saw that day, this was my favourite one. I wasn’t sure what to expect going in but it was very cleverly written, with great comedic beats running through a strong narrative (don’t want to give anything away about it) and all 4 actors were terrific. I really enjoyed it and think it’s definitely worth a watch
