I had the pleasure of seeing this one man show yesterday, it was an interesting story telling of the life of Whitey Bulger and his family growing up in Boston. But what was astonishing was watching Joe Coffey slip from one character into another seamlessly and how quickly just by his facial expression, change of stance, and voice, you followed each of the characters throughout. The guy works for his audience, the energy he expends becomes physically clear as the show progresses. if you want to see a great actor and an exhausting performance, go and see this.
