Description

Ghosts have the most appalling quality of life. Luke and Jess meet at a party: several dates, an entire relationship and a bad breakup later, he reappears in her life to announce that he’s dead. As their story is played out back and forth in time, Luke and Jess must decide whether they want to carry on being in each other’s lives – or afterlives. A tender, darkly funny play about being young and stupid, and older and wiser, and feeling like you're running out of time before you've even begun.

Bucket List was excellent. I found both characters very relatable and was quickly invested in their relationship. The jumps between past and present were cleverly done with sound bites of songs or ambient noise to set the scene whilst the stage set up was changed. Brilliant writing and wonderful performance by the actors in this lovely play exploring grief, relationships and the time we have. I was moved to tears at the end.

This is brilliant writing sensitively performed. Would highly recommend.

A very sweet and thoughtful play which I enjoyed very much. Well written with an interesting story line which took you on a journey of emotions. Only 2 cast members and they both gave excellent performances. I really liked the use of sound bites in between scenes and I thought it was cleverly done. I didn’t know anything about the play before I saw it but I’m glad I did !

Not the best but not the worst. Needed more energy and less scenes, as was difficult to connect with the characters. But was a nice story, performed well, and I was left entertained

Loved this show, moving, witty and utterly charming. Best thing I’ve seen at the fringe!

A charming, witty and at times poignant piece of drama, performed by two very talented young actors. A must see!

A 2 handed play which was well written and beautifully acted. Well worth a visit

Good. The frequent jumps between when he's dead and when he was alive could have been very confusing but they somehow managed to keep then and now clear.
