Step into history as members of iconic Scottish bands Del Amitri, Orange Juice, Bluebells and more take audiences on an immersive journey into the heart of Scotland's rich cultural heritage through a captivating blend of dynamic music and projection. Featuring stellar performances from specially selected musicians, this immersive experience blends history, entertainment and surprise, promising visually and sonically captivating moments throughout. Broadside Ballads is performed by Alston/Kirk Overdrive and the Internationale: Andy Alston (Del Amitri), James Kirk (Orange Juice), Jim MacDermott (Simple Minds) and Brian Docherty (Bluebells), plus singers including Justin Currie (Del Amitri) and Ken McCluskey (Bluebells)Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. General venue access
- Accessible entry: Patrons enter the building via either 3 shallow steps or the platform lift. Please note the platform lift is only suitable for manual wheelchairs and not power wheelchairs. The Big Yin can be accessed via the building lift to the 3rd Floor. The Accessible toilet is located in the Basement. Please make yourself known to a member of staff (in a pink t-shirt) if you require assistance or require a specific seat.
