Description

Brass Tracks is back for one night only! For the fifth consecutive year, the respected brass quintet returns with a timely show paying homage to our rich cultural ties with Europe. Praised for their excellent technique and attention to stylistic detail, this highly professional ensemble presents musical highlights from the past 500 years, from Monteverdi to Morricone, many of them featuring exciting new arrangements. Consummate musicianship allows Brass Tracks to deliver a diverse and accessible programme with a lightness of touch, and a dash of humour, that will satisfy the expert while entertaining newcomers to the classic brass.

General venue access

  • Sight not needed
  • Accessible entry: There is a permanent ramp from the street to the door on a very easy gradient and after that everything including the disabled toilet can be accessed via level access.
  • Wheelchair access type: Permanent Ramp, Level Access

  • Stairs: 2 - 5
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance

Monteverdi was a bold (and chronologically correct!) start to this professional brass quintet concert, though there were one or two small technical issues with it. However, the band quickly established a rapport with their audience by introducing singer William Williamson in their own touching arrangement of ‘Annie Laurie’ for brass...
