I was immediately grabbed by "Barbie monologue meets Hedwig and the Angry Inch", and I wasn't disappointed!
A wonderful show filled with poetry and musings on relationships and connections. Whether they're to actual people (good and bad), your own identity, and even Taco Bell. Many goosebumps were had, so glad I saw this!

Fantastic and fun! What a heartfelt show! Gigi Bella is rockstar and a poet. I had a good feeling about this one, but even so I was pleasantly surprised. She and her bandmates Danger and Evan have put together the kind of Fringe show that I actively seek out and--if I'm lucky--find once or twice a year. It's personal and affecting, but also beautiful and quite skillful. Gigi delves into the particulars of her own life, including her painful but important realisation that racism manifests not just in abuse hurled by strangers, but also sometimes appears insidiously in close relationships. She also has a funny-but-poignant piece about Taco Bell comfort food nourishing the soul.
In sharing the specifics of her life, Gigi creates something that is universal. I hope this show resonates with you as much as it did with me.
And please, if you feel moved, get up and dance at the end. It's fun, and it makes Gigi very happy!

Great show, unique opportunity to see an artist who travelled a long way to perform. Potentially eye opening. All depends on you.

I was at the debut showing of this, after chatting with Gigi after another show.
The themes around belonging, mental health, virtual connection (during COVID) and real-life connection all struck a chord with me.
I'd not witnessed anything quite like BIG FEELINGS -- I laughed, cried, clicked, clapped and dance all in the space of an hour. Gigi also manages to make 11(!) costume changes during the show! I'd happily see this one again.

Heartfelt and deeply insightful, my friend and I both laughed and cried at various points
