Bi-Curious George: Queer Planet

One of our favorite shows this year - I'm so glad I picked it out of the lineup! I learned so much and the show filled my heart with so much queer joy. Bi-Curious George is exceptionally talented and I can't wait to see what else he does!!

This show was hilarious, informative, and creative. Bi-Curious George was a hit for me at this year’s Fringe and they did a wonderful job with the costume pieces, videos, lighting, and overall performance. I loved the audience participation as well. Highly recommend this show!

Full of Heart and Laughter
Oh wow! I laughed so hard, but also learned so much about the world and felt more connected to nature than I had in a long time. The show is a joyful (and sexy!) and fun celebration of the queer side of nature that our teachers neglected. Reccomend it to everyone! I am a George stan and I’d wanna wuzzle him any day!

This was so so amazing!!!!!! I not only learned about queer nature, but Bi-Curious George does it in a way that is part comedy, part drag show, part everything else that is this queer planet!

Delivering a one-of-a-kind documentary-style drag show about the intersectionailty of queerness and the natural world is no mean feat, but George makes it look easy. Nuanced, intelligent and ultimately, a lot of fun.

This is the best show I've seen at the Fringe this year and possibly in years. Drag meets science communication meets queer education and visibility. It's funny, kind, fascinating and sexy in equal measures, and leaves you thinking without ever labouring a point (only a seahorse).

You know how every single one of us have thought at least once a week, “Why hasn’t David Attenborough done a queer themed nature documentary. But funny. And caberet-y.” We all have, right?!

Well… to fill that woeful void leaps the charismatic and charming and slight flirty, sexy drag king you never knew you needed!

Genuinely, such a funny, well paced, joyous show.

Bi-curious George has cleverly crafted a show that is hilarious, touching, silly, and sexy all at the same time. Each moment was created with such smart attention to every detail. This was the best drag king show I've ever seen!!

George, you crafty rascal! Your full spectrum talent, playful spirit, and wink-wink humor stole my heart. Brilliant show that creatively flips perspective on its head and takes us into the depths with metaphor, playful entendre, empathy and (optional) audience interaction. This show illuminates and celebrates a shame-free world of sexual celebration and offers a reminder that we're beautiful creatures who are all in it together. LOVED it! Go see it!

A beautiful celebration of love in its many forms showing that life exists beyond the binary across our planet. Bi-Curious George is a drag king who excels at physical theatre (including some jaw-dropping dancing) and crafts a beautiful, heartwarming and hilarious narrative through the lens of a nature documentary showing just how queer the planet really is. The show includes a lot of audience participation and an array of incredibly detailed props. A feel-good piece that revels in the diversity of life.

The drag king we all need! This show proves how queer are planet is, educational and SO entertaining! Please go watch!

Laughed from start to finish - the energy in this show is infectious. A hilarious, interesting, and joy-filled hour that celebrates queer life on our planet. David Attenborough wishes he was George.

I didn’t know what to expect when I sat down for this show, but I loved every minute of it. George absolutely tears up the stage with this part-cabaret, part-science lecture, full-bore celebration of queerness in the animal kingdom. This is a high-energy party that entertains and educates in equal measure, and I cannot recommend it highly enough.

Great drag show, amazing array of costumes and musical numbers, very sweet and empowering message embracing the queer community. Take your gay friends and enjoy!
