The Best of the West End and Broadway

Cre8iv Theatre Company’s “Best of West End and Broadway” revue was an outstanding display of talent and emotion. From the moment the performers stepped onto the stage, they commanded attention with their impressive skills and engaging presence.

The revue featured a diverse array of numbers from some of the most celebrated musicals of both Broadway and the West End. The programme included a mix of group and solo performances that evoked a broad spectrum of emotions, from pure joy to heartfelt poignancy.

Particularly noteworthy was the musical director’s expertise, in their skillful matching of songs to each performer’s strengths. This not only highlighted the unique talents of each cast member but also ensured that the musical arrangements significantly enhanced the overall impact of the performance.

The variety and quality of the songs ensured that there was something for everyone, and the performers handled each piece with remarkable flair.

The younger cast members made a significant impact with their performances in numbers like “If Only You Would Listen” and “Revolting Children.” Their energy and talent were evident, and they held their own impressively alongside their more seasoned peers.

Throughout the show, the vocal performances were exceptionally strong, and the ensemble’s cohesion was evident in every act. The evening reached an emotional high with the closing number from Dear Evan Hansen. This final performance was particularly moving, delivering a powerful conclusion that left many audience members in tears.

Cre8iv Theatre Company’s revue The Best Of Westend and Broadway was a remarkable celebration of musical theatre, with each performance showcasing the cast’s exceptional talent. With a lineup that consistently impressed and a closing number that was truly unforgettable. You would be crazy to miss this show!

I promise you - you won’t see better. Cre8iv have brought the West End/Broadway to Edinburgh in spades!! Slick, professional and beautiful voices. The song choices were amazing and so lovely to see the children taking centre stage with the adults. Some amazing solo’s and the group numbers were beautifully executed. The new venue for the remaining 4 shows is a great space. These guys DESERVE full audiences and i urge you NOT TO MISS IT. You have FOUR MORE CHANCES xx

Wow wow! Love the all age cast at cre8tiv theatre. Such a talented group of performers and also nurturing young people too. I loved the variety of the songs, the superb vocal talent and slick transitions from song to song. The time just flew by! It left me wanting to discover new musicals and happy vibes. A lunchtime show in the centre of the action which revived me and left me in tears at the end. The cast truly have respect and love for each other which oozes throughout their songs. A real highlight of my first time here at the fringe! Thank you

WOW WOW WOW what a show. After seeing these guys at Fringe last year and I was not disappointed then I had to come back again this year and I am so glad I did because this year was even better. The talent in this cast from children to adults is absolutely insane. Not only that the way the cast work together is breathtaking they are the most well connected theatre company I have seen you can see just how close these guys are. Well done on another amazing show I can't wait to watch it again

This was my fave of the 7 shows I saw over the weekend. The all-age cast (down to maybe 8 yrs?) was not only technically excellent but also had real star factor and poured their heart into the songs so the emotion came through. I really loved it. Highly recommended.

This was an incredible performance from amazing group of people. I liked that there was a variety of songs from musicals and that different people had a chance to shine (side note: the woman performing 'All that Jazz' had one of the most perfect voices for this song I have ever heard). The ending was absolutely breathtaking, I understand this was a very emotional performance for the group, and you certainly managed to convey that emotion, I teared up with you!
Short, sweet and gets you in the feels - I would definitely recommend!
