Description

Orange Claw Hammer, following their triumphant appearance at the Zappanale Festival in Germany, continue to rework the music of Captain Beefheart and the Magic Band for the 21st century. Material from all the Captain's albums interpreted by Steve Kettley (saxes, vocal), Stuart Allardyce (guitar), Dave Beards (bass), and Des Travis (drums). Psychedelic rock meets free jazz meets the blues! 'Of all the things I saw in the Edinburgh Festival, the stand out performance was Orange Claw Hammer in a cellar bar' (Mark Thomas).
