Comedy (alternative comedy)

  • Babes in arms policy: Babies do not require a ticket
  • Policy applies to: Children under 2 years

Description

Steve Jobs is a visionary. Buck Taskaroo is a cowboy. They are best friends. Until fate gets in the way. This play offers an absurd reimagining of a very famous story about success, genius, jealousy, betrayal and – most importantly – fate. We don't know why things work out for some people and not for others. This play explores the tragicomedy of two best friends who share a dream, but only one of them is meant to prevail.

I didn't realize there was so much written history about Steve Jobs and Steve Woz. It's amazing how these public figures can just bury facts and hide them from the public. I was so happy to watch this story and see the TRUTH about Steve's real cowboy best friend, Buck Taskaroo. This felt like a very "Fringe" show. Upstairs in a small, but comfortable room. Three cast members making it happen. You could tell they were all having a lot of fun on stage and it was translating into the audience very well. This is what Fringe is about. Just . Making. It. Happen. Cheers to the performers.

Also - don't google Buck Taskaroo. You'll go into a deep hole of information and tech conspiracies and never look at your myphone the same way.

A show of pure goofy fun. Steve Jobs wishes this was his true biography… or is it!? A must see if you own an iPhone or like cowboys.

This show had me laughing out loud!! Performances and production were great. Never been so happy to be completely lied to about history.
