Wasn't sure to expect from this student led performance, but I needn't have worried! The duo on stage somehow managed to transform a Radisson conference room into a poignant performance space as they dealt capably with generational trauma and the courage required to examine and change one's lifepath. It really resounded in me. Both actresses were excellent in their roles, though it took a bit to work out who was playing the mother and who was the daughter given that both have such fresh faces. Much of the performance took place on the floor, and unfortunately we were sitting a few rows back so we missed a bit of that. A suggestion would be on quiet days to encourage patrons to sit in the front rows so that nothing is missed. These are small considerations in the bigger picture of an excellent show with excellent performances. Well done to all involved!

An insightful and challenging watch exploring the effects of Childhood Trauma and adverse experiences. A hard watch, but only because of the thoughtful and creative scriptwriting which transports you into the psyche of a young woman struggling with the challenges of coming to terms with maternal trauma. Beautifully acted and immersive staging by the young cast. A definite must see performance at this year’s Fringe.
