Description

How many lies have you told today? The average person lies twice a day – but then, they could be… This is an age of mendacity, where politicians lie, and the media spins half-truths. But Bear Pit Theatre are getting more personal. Because deceit is at the heart of humanity. These are the verbatim accounts of lies that have broken hearts and saved lives, told through physical theatre and puppetry in a glorious carnival of everyday strangeness. ‘Hidden Gem’ (FringeReview.co.uk, on How To Be Lost). ‘Hopeful and uplifting’ *****(EdinburghGuide.com, on Tales of Xenia).

I can highly recommend this production. Exceptional writing by a young, talented group of artists, all of whom put in flawless performances. This is an excellent production that makes one reflect on the lies one has told and those one has been told. Thought provoking, funny in parts, lots of movement and always engaging. Worth a visit to Lauriston Halls.

A thought provoking exploration of the impact of everyday lies. Brilliantly performed by a young cast. Would recommend.
