Description
Following the loss of a childhood friend, Evie is on a quest to find the meaning of life and leave behind a legacy before she turns 23. It seems simple enough until spending the morning at her cousin's Death Cafe leaves her wondering if life and death might not be so simple after all. Any Day Now is a poignant and comedic one-person show exploring thanataphobia (fear of dying) and how to share humour, humility, and empathy with those facing a shortened life. Please note that while all media gallery content is provided by verified members of the event, the Edinburgh Festival Fringe Society does not review or approve this content before it is posted. I was truly stunned by this performance. All aspects of it impress me. It's exactly of my ally in terms of being smart, LOL insightful, witty, honest, open and dealing with the bigger issues of our internal and external universe. I agree with Martha that we need more positive courageous stories about facing death and our final moments with grace. I love how she looks into the abyss and find stardust in our souls.. perfectly lovely.

Any day now was one of our favourites of Fringe’24!!! Funny, emotional, professional. Martia is a writer and this is her first show, I believe which is unbelievable. She was great in having contact with the audience and touched my heart.
