Totally brilliant. A rollercoaster of belly ache laughter, raw emotion and all bound together with her extraordinary voice. A must see!

Natalie Durkin Southsider
The Angle of the North. From north of south of the border, a northern southerner with perspective and designer perfumes although we needed to in'scent'ive to be in the room. Acutely obtuse and less divine, well worth 40/45 minutes of your time!

Thoroughly enjoyed Natalie's show. It felt warm, authentic, and she will blow you away with her singing voice. You get the impression she's a genuinely friendly person, but on top of that she's very funny as well!

A delightful show, very relatable anecdotes and funny songs, with that wonderful singing voice - hints at darkness but with a very light touch. In a well-soundproofed venue in a pub, and a drink in a glass! Highly recommend.

5* - Welcoming, relatable and rip-roaring comedy, with a spectacular northern twist!

Natalie is the most incredible comic! Her warmth and personability is so infectious - you're laughing all the way through! And that VOICE!! 100% would recommend for anyone needing a bit of joy, a bit of north-eastern warmth and a few Greggs references on the way.

Absolutely hilarious! Natalie’s energy is just incredible. The show is bold and honest and her humour is simply fantastic - not to mention the songs that are not only brilliantly written but are performed beautifully - what a voice! Natalie Durkin’s Angle of the North is a must see!!

Absolute delight! Found on the free fringe app on my suggested shows and went on a whim and had a ball. Unapologetically northern, queer and musical this is a must see

Natalie is charming and funny. her songs are funny and it was quite shocking when her sweet demeanour took a turn and the song went a bit dark!
see her before she gets too famous, I reckon it's coming.

Saw Natalie this afternoon on her debut solo show and absolutely loved it. Combining her real life anecdotes with an incredible singing voice, Natalie is at her very best when she is behind her keyboard, performing her songs and sharing her own observations as a ‘middle class northerner’ in London. With her ability to easily engage directly with the audience and her genuine wit and warmth, Natalie deserves to be in a much bigger venue and had already filled the room on her first performance. Don’t miss her.
