Beautiful dancing set to lovely traditional music. Would recommend this show. I haven't seen dancing like this in person before so was educational to see. Clothing of the performers also beautiful. May be nice also to experiment with lower light levels as seen between the performances.

I enjoyed this show overall - the movement is mesmerising and the costumes dazzling. However, I must say that it wasn't quite enough to keep me hooked for a full hour as the pace has little sense of variation. Some interesting lighting design might have helped - it's cold white lighting for the majority of the performance. Also, while I'm sure it is part of the cultural background, I found the ankle bells really quite jarring by the end - I was very ready to stop hearing them. Clearly highly skilled performers who I would have enjoyed even more with a shorter performance or more variety.

All it took was a split second; a moment; a pose, and I was in tears. Ragamala have an astounding ability to cleanse the soul through dance. The very space they move in vibrates with energy and life. Don’t miss this awe-inspiring show! 5+ stars
