Description
A shift in lighting casts new shadows. That song you couldn’t stop playing now hurts when it comes on in Tesco. The smell of your high school maths classroom wallops you around the face decades later in the lobby of a hotel abroad. Do things have a place and how do they change if they find themselves a new one? Following Matthews's sold-out 2023 run, the critically decorated comic returns with a show exploring the transformative nature of context. 'A searing wit' (Rolling Stone). Lined up at the venue given. Staff confirmed correct venue. Got to front of queue and they sent us across the road. 3-4minutes late we were told - 4 tickets. Apparently Amy siding want any late entire AND the staff told us it was full!!! So does EdFringe overbook? Awful experience for retired couple and friends. Shame but something isn’t right here.
Can’t give any stars We didn’t get to see the show!!

Probably my favourite comedian currently working, and Commute with the Foxes is a fine example of why. Witty, warm, wise and welcoming.

This is the third year I have come to see Amy Matthews at the Fringe and somehow she gets funnier every year. Through witty and perfectly timed jokes, you get to know Amy throughout her 1 hour set. If you're looking for something touching and personal that will leave you in stitches, then this is the show for you. 10/10

This is another great show from Amy, it is so cleverly written and well produced, both funny and thought provoking. She is an absolute natural, so confident and comfortable on the stage and an hour was gone in a flash.
