The world's best late show comes to the Fringe for the first time! Altitude Comedy Festival (Winner of Best Overseas Festival) boasts previous performers that include... Tim Minchin, Eddie Izzard, Micky Flanagan, Jimmy Carr, John Bishop, Katherine Ryan, Dara O'Briain, Frankie Boyle, Gina Yashere, Bill Bailey, Jim Jefferies, Jo Brand, Daniel Sloss, Rob Beckett, Roisin Conaty and Dylan Moran, just to name a few. So expect big names and the usual late night shenanigans that this late show is renowned for. 'Altitude is awesome' (Tim Minchin). 'Go!' (Jimmy Carr).

General venue access

  • Accessible entry: There’s a lift between the bar and venue street entry. Then, from venue entry level to the main performance space ("Atomic") there is an up-and-over style of lift to carry a wheelchair over the 4 steps to get in.
  • Wheelchair access type: Permanent Ramp, Lift (Platform Lift)

  • Stairs: 2 - 5
    Number of stairs is provided as guidance and is not in addition to any wheelchair access type (lift/ramp etc) stated above.

How and when to make an access booking

Our access tickets service is available to anyone who:

  • Would like to book specific accessibility services, e.g. a hearing loop, audio description headsets, captioning units, seating in relation to the location of the BSL interpreter
  • Requires extra assistance when at a venue
  • Has specific seating requirements
  • Is a wheelchair user
  • Requires a complimentary personal assistant ticket to attend a performance
